Masterplan

Written by Hog Bay CT at 22:31 19/5-2016

I get asked a lot of questions, well not a lot but quite a few and it always boils down to the following few: What are your plans? When are you finally going to race? Aren't you sick of dp trading?

So I figured I'd answer some of them here, since I kind of have an idea.

I've started building a team for the long term. Goal is to have a full (or at least decently sized) team by the start of S39. The time until then will be spent looking for nice riders, training talents and getting the hang of planning a race plan. Obviously, all riders will have to come from the glorious nation of Bermuda.

  Team presentation

  Trainer - Ridley Hecht
Ridley started his first job after racing as Head trainer of Hog Bay CT. The seventeenth most successful most Bermudian of all-time in terms of scored points ended his career at Hog Bay and was asked to help build the team with his extensive experience - and didn't have to think about that for long.

Climbing tour captain - Gresham Witham
Gresham was the first big signing for Hog Bay. After being scouted by Bermudian scouting master Starlynk Bermuda and trained by Wing On Pinarello he was signed for 425k. We hope he'll be able to get us some nice jerseys in the future. He might be a tad light for Germany Tour, but the lower division tours on the way to the top look tasty.

CL team mate - Leo Wahl
Leo was the second rider signed to the roster. In junior races he looked like a guy with lots of potential, but he hit the ceiling of his ability a bit on the early side. He can still be a useful team mate however, which convinced us to bring him to Hog Bay. For just 140k he'll be at the team for over 13 seasons if all goes to plan, that's a bargain.

DH team mate (secondary captain) - Harley Magness
After the most epic bid war I have seen in the game (http://www.cyclingsimulator.com/
forum/transfer/271433) Harley was the third rider signed up to the team. The 295k price was far more than we hoped for, but we believe in his potential. He is not at his peak yet, so we hope he can gain a lot more in terms of abilities. He will mainly be used as team mate for the climbing captain (to be announced) and Gresham Witham, but he might get a shot at a captaincy in downhill races, depending on his overall max.

We hope to add more riders to the team. Of course, keep your eyes open for Bermudian talents, they are always welcome.

  Thanks for your time,
  Llotyhy
